I'm Here. Sortof.

It's been one thing after another. Changed phone service only to have it conk out after a week. Took Verizon another two weeks to get out here to figure out what was wrong. Seems that there are two different lines running into my house. When something is done to one, it blows out the other. Obviously the second line was put in years ago and never labeled as a second line. Hopefully it is all resolved now, lord knows I need a phone now. With Amber being special, in school, and going on field trips for one and with me being near the end of the pregnancy for another reason.

I took a pretty hard fall on Sunday. Blew out the muscles and ligaments in my hips that are around the womb. Lucky me! Probably the first time I've been really thankful for a wreck I was in years ago that forced me to strengthen other muscles to make up for others that were very damaged. Still needing to watch for pre-term labor now, but I'm far enough along that things would be ok. Not perfect, but ok. Sore, but Tylenol is my friend.

I submitted an article to Unique Magazine, an online publication for parents of special needs kids. I was pretty thrilled when they accepted my work. A subscription costs $3 USD a month, but 1/3 of their prroceeds go to charities for special needs. I'm impressed with anyone who helps families with special needs kids. If you want to check them out, go to Unique Magazine and you'll see an short excerpt from my article, Friday Morning Apocalypse.

I also started a new website. It is a frugal/cheap site. I'm a bit upset because the Adsense doesn't seem to be working right on any page but the first. Must have screwed something up in the iframe. Bleh. If you want to check it out, hop on over to Everyday Economics.

It still needs work, but I'm gettting it going! Even have 3 articles up.

Ok, so I need to add this blog to my Twitterfeed. Oh and I am going to be probably buying a site for this blog, too. Either that or a parenting site.

OH, did I mention we have 3 new kitties? A black fuzzy, an orange fuzzy tabby, and a silver fuzzy tabby? In order of the colors: Loki (Rob Jr's), Punkin (Amber's), and Cloudy (Terisa's). Rob and I named Loki, but Terisa and Amber named theirs. I am so happy because Amber has never attempted to name a doll, or anything at all. That's a big step!

Ok folks, I must go forth into the world of job/gig seeking. If you happen to know of something I might be right for, hit my comments! I'd appreciate it, especially now. I'll update about why another time.
